For the last two years, LISE has collaborated with RIBA Hampshire to hold a lecture aimed specifically at Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. In 2014, we had Andrew Grant speak about the Gardens by the Bay.
On 23rd September 2015, Sander Lap (Lap Lab, Rotterdam) gave a very passionate critique of the need of starting with the Landscape.
The audience were shown glimpses and thought processes of projects “from large outdoor landscapes to city masterplans and cozy small-scale spaces.” All in all it was a great lecture and a great advertisement for what the LA’s can achieve.
The Landscape Institute South East held both the AGM and pub quiz on 15th July evening. The headlines from the evening; Purrfect performance from Top Cats, winning both the Liz Ford plant id round and the overall quiz.
